February 2021 eBirders of the Month

ebirding-challenge-logo-800px-281x300India saw a lot of birding in February, thanks to the Great Backyard Bird Count! Before moving on to the results for the monthly challenges, here is a brief glimpse of birding in February by-the-numbers (with the previous month in brackets)

Number of birders: 4537 (3887)

Number of observations: 9.4 lakh (7.9 lakh)

Number of lists (all types):  59681 (36504)

Number of species: 1050

February Challenge:

The challenge for February was to upload 40 lists— in such a way that at least 20 lists to be uploaded during four days of the GBBC and another 20 during the remaining twenty-four days of the month.

From these 71 names, one was drawn using a computer-generated random number. This person is Vigneshwaran B who receives a copy of Bird Sense, by Tim Birkhead as a small gift in appreciation.

i have also uploaded checklist in feb.21 which is not mentioned in above list.

Can you please check if all your checklists uploaded in Feb meet this criterion- at least 20 lists during all days of the GBBC and another 20 during the remaining twenty-four days of the month?
