GBBC 2016 has begun!

2016 GBBC_Event_Poster_250pxThe Great Backyard Bird Count has begun! Over 1,000 birdwatchers from across India are expected to take part in this global event, spanning the next four days. More than 150 educational and other institutions are documenting their birds through the Campus Bird Count.

JOIN IN
All that’s needed is to look for birds for at least 15 minutes this Friday to Monday (12-15 Feb), and upload the list of birds seen (together with counts) to eBird. You can repeat this as often as you like, from as many locations as you like. More information is here.

FOLLOW ALONG
Keep track of what species are being reported, by whom, and from where, in India, or worldwide. Stay up-to date with announcements and news on our Facebook event page.
