White-eyed Buzard (Butastur teesa) is a small raptor that is largely confined to the Indian Subcontinent and Myanmar.
Although apparently resident in large parts of the region, they tend to move a lot, often showing up at unexpected places. During autumn, large numbers of young White-eyed Buzzards aggregate in western and northwestern India in arid and semi-arid regions. But do they visit that region on their way further south or is that the destination? We do not yet have the answer.
