Crab Plover (Dromas ardeola) breeds primarily in the Middle-East and shows some intriguing and not very straightforward movements. While some birds stay back in their breeding grounds during winter, large numbers winter along the east coast of Africa and the Gujarat coast in India.
Some birds also migrate elsehwere along the west coast of India and Sri Lanka where a handful seem to have now stayed back without actually breeding.

Amur Falcon (Falco amurensis) breeds in northern China and eastern Russia (Amur) and is a true passage migrant in India on its way to southern Africa to spend the winter.
Arctic Warbler (Phylloscopus borealis) breeds across the northern Eurasian taiga and migrates to Southeast Asia and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during winter.
Ashy Drongo (Dicrurus leucophaeus) breeds in the Himalayas and in parts of central India and migrates to lower altitudes and latitudes during winter.
