June 2018 eBirders of the month

ebirding-challenge-logo-800px-281x300June brings welcome rain to many parts of the country, and a number of species are in full breeding activity, so it is a very interesting month for birding. Here is the breakup of birding in India in the month of June 2018 (with previous month in brackets):

Number of birders: 995 (1,207)
Number of lists (all types): 8,500 (11,300)
Number of observations: 1.47 lakh (2.0 lakh)

June challenge

The challenge for June  was to upload at least 30 eligible checklists, with at least three of them containing a brood-parasitic cuckoo (details at the link above). Of the 995 eBirders in this month, 46 met the target. These are (excluding group accounts):
