February 2025 eBirding Challenge

February is one of the most exciting months for birdwatchers! With the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) from 14–17 February 2025, birders across India (and the world!) will step outdoors to observe and document birds. Alongside GBBC, multiple campuses will take part in the Campus Bird Count (CBC) to record their campus birdlife.

To make the most of this exciting month, here’s your challenge for February:

  • Upload at least 40 complete checklists during the month.
  • At least 10 checklists should be from 14–17 February (GBBC days).
  • Each list should be a Complete checklist (with counts, no “X”) and be at least 15 minutes long.

Please upload all your lists by 10 March 2025 so that we can announce the results soon after that.

Here are the general rules of our monthly challenges. And check out the yearlong challenges for 2025 as well! You can keep track of fresh lists coming in from India on this page.
