New: Results of 2023’s Year-long eBird-India Challenge!
February is an exciting month for birdwatchers across the world, as they gear up for the most-awaited event of the year—Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). This is a free, fun and easy event that gets beginner and experienced birdwatchers of all ages to watch birds. This year the GBBC is from 16–19 February. There is also the Campus Bird Count (CBC), a sub-event that runs along with GBBC. Multiple campuses across India participate in the CBC to document the birdlife in their area.
Keeping these events in mind, this month’s challenge involves uploading a total of at least 33 lists. Out of the 33 lists, at least 8 lists are to be uploading between 16th to 19th Feb. Each list should be Complete list with counts (no X) and of at least 15 minutes or more.
Please upload all your lists by 10 March 2024 so that we can announce the results soon after that.
