Vulture Estimation Program is a citizen science initiative organised by World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF India) in association with Bird Count India (BCI). This is the third year of this program where citizen birders, ornithologists, photographers, and naturalists are invited to participate in the vulture count.
The event is from 2nd September to 1st October 2023. Participants are encouraged to visit any of the locations where vultures have been spotted or are expected to be on any of the days listed. This is a citizen science initiative to fill the knowledge gap about the vulture population.
See here to join this project.
