The World Wildlife Fund-India (WWF India) has launched a vulture estimating program across India. This is the fourth year of this program, which invites citizen birders, ornithologists, photographers, and naturalists to participate in the vulture census.
The count is from 7th September to 6th October 2024. Participants are encouraged to visit any of the locations where vultures have been spotted or are expected to be on any of the days listed.
This is a citizen science initiative to fill the knowledge gap about the vulture population. For participating please register clicking on this link: Vulture Count Registration Form
