New: Prelim Results for Wild Bird Day 2024

Join in the 7th edition of India’s Wild Bird Day on 12 October 2024. This is an annual one-day event celebrated nationwide in India every October.

This day aligns with the global event called the ‘October Big Day,’ where birders from multiple countries come together to record as many bird species as possible within a 24-hour timeframe. By participating in Wild Bird Day, you are also participating in the October Big Day (details coming soon), the Global Bird Weekend and commemorating the World Migratory Bird Day

Last year on Wild Bird Day/ October Big Day, birders in India uploaded 3,516 checklists and recored 758 species- all in 1 day! Participate on this day as we try to set a new record.
