All Women Nature Walk at Jarakabande Kavalu Park

Join us for a refreshing morning walk at Jarakabande Kavalu Butterfly Garden to discover vibrant birds, busy insects and lush trees. This walk is open to all women of all fitness levels. Beginners are highly encouraged to join! Bring your kids along – it’s a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and each other.

Charges: Rs. 10 (park entry fee, to be paid in cash)

General Guidelines:

• • The walk starts promptly at 6:30 AM. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding the entrance. We may be unavailable to answer phone calls for directions closer to the start time.
  • This walk is for all women however, children up to the age of 12 are allowed.
  • Toilets are available inside the park.
  • If you have any special needs, please message us separately to discuss accommodation.

What to Wear and Bring:

• Dress for sun protection and insect repellent. Long sleeves, pants, and neutral colors are recommended to blend into the environment.
• Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
• Rain gear is recommended, as showers are possible.
• Bring snacks and water to stay hydrated and fueled throughout the walk.
• Bring binoculars (if you have), notebook and pen.
