December is the peak birding season in India! The majority of our winter migrants have arrived and will spend the next few months fattening up before preparing for the long journeys back to their breeding grounds.
The eBird-India challenge for this month is to upload at least 30 checklists! Out of these, make sure to upload 4 lists from a single eBird hotspot. You can do this by splitting your birding into shorter lists during one visit or by visiting the hotspot multiple times during the month.
Note: Each list should be no-X,Ā complete checklists ofĀ at least 15 minutes duration.
If you are new to eBird hotspots, then please see this video that explains how to explore hotspots in any region.
Please upload all your lists by 10 January 2025 so that we can announce the results soon after that.
