About the Webinar
The Campus Bird Count (CBC) is a special initiative under the larger Great Backyard Bird Count, tailored specifically for India. This event encourages individuals and groups to monitor birds across a variety of campuses, including universities, corporate offices, research stations, and government institutions.
This webinar will cover everything you need to know to get involved in CBC, including:
- What is CBC and why it’s important
- How to participate in CBC, whether you’re a student, employee, or institution
- Best practices for accurate bird counting and data collection
- How to use tools like eBird for submitting and tracking your data
- How to engage others in your community to participate and build a birdwatching culture on your campus
Who Should Attend?
- Anyone from educational and training institutions
- Anyone from research stations or labs
- Anyone from the Forest Departments
- Anyone from wildlife lodges, corporate campuses, government and non government organisations
- Anyone living/ working/ studying in sites that they call it as campus
Please note that the Zoom session can accommodate only 100 participants. We recommend joining at least 10 minutes before the start time to secure your spot.
