All Women Nature Walks

New: Recap of AWNW at Turahalli Park

Many women today face hurdles when it comes to outdoor exploration. Safety concerns, busy schedules, and a sense that outdoor activities are “not for them” can create barriers. All Women Nature Walks (AWNW) aims to change that!

Founded in August 2023 by Mittal Gala and Misha Bansal in Bangalore, AWNW fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for all women to connect with nature. While birdwatching is a shared passion, they also have a keen interest in other forms of wildlife. Through guided walks, they dismantle the perception that the outdoors are inaccessible. AWNW is more than just exercise; it’s a space for women to explore, build friendships, and discover a love for birds and the natural world.  It’s a chance to experience the joy and rejuvenation that nature offers, free from any constraints.

The AWNW team aspires to see their vision flourish across India. They are passionate about empowering women to embrace the outdoors on their own terms, and they are eager to work together to make this dream a reality.

AWNW’s wings may be in Bangalore, but our love for connecting women with nature soars far and wide! We’d be delighted to help you establish a similar program in your region, fostering a nationwide network of women nature enthusiasts. Join us in making AWNW a national movement – let’s get more women enjoying the wonders of the natural world!
