Wild Bird Day is an annual one-day event celebrated nationwide in India every October. The first edition of Wild Bird Day was celebrated on Oct 2018.
This day aligns with the global event called the ‘October Big Day,’ where birders from multiple countries come together to record as many bird species as possible within a 24-hour timeframe. By participating in Wild Bird Day, you are also participating in the October Big Day, the Global Bird Weekend and commemorating the World Migratory Bird Day!
