Common Crane (Grus grus) breeds across temperate Eurasia and migrates south across its range.
Populations from Central Asia eastwards to Mongolia presumably winter in western and northwestern India. Some eastern breeding birds also migrate to Northeast India.
Common Cranes migrate during the day and are very noisy. So if your home lies in the path of Common Crane migration, listen out and you may hear them while they fly high up in the sky!

Arctic Warbler (Phylloscopus borealis) breeds across the northern Eurasian taiga and migrates to Southeast Asia and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during winter.
Ashy Drongo (Dicrurus leucophaeus) breeds in the Himalayas and in parts of central India and migrates to lower altitudes and latitudes during winter.
